Healing After Workplace Bullying Abuse

Being abused in the workplace can take a toll on an individual, mentally and physically. In this session, you’ll learn effective healing modalities to help you transform your mind, body, and life and live an abundant life.
Christin Peeples founded BossUpCulture.org, a 501c3 dedicated to bring awareness, prevent, and eradicate workplace abuse. Christin is a wife and mother of three who endured over a decade of this mistreatment within her career at the hands of poor management and dishonest human resource partners. As a result of this allowed misconduct ingrained within her leadership’s culture, Christin’s health was severely impacted, as it declined both mentally and physically. She suffered multiple panic attacks, high blood-pressure, and hypertension and succumbed to substance abuse. She was also diagnosed with anxiety/depression disorder & PTSD as a result of this mistreatment. Workplace abuse not only affected her life, but also her family. Choosing to live, she left her hostile work environment and has made it her life’s mission to shine the light on this growing issue. She is also committed to educating and preventing employees and companies from having to experience the loss associated with allowing workplace abuse within company culture as it results in detrimental impacts on business and has even lead to employee suicide in some cases. BossUpCulture.org‘s purpose is for everyone to win, at work and in life. Knowing the importance of mental health, her charity is raising funding through donations and sales through their website to ensure mental health coverage is available to targets who don’t have coverage or can’t afford it.
BossUpCulture.org has also expanded its offerings to include: abundant living coaching, workplace abuse awareness business consulting services, public speaking engagements, and the BossUpCulture.org YouTube Channel, dedicated to abundant living and workplace abuse tips. The company motto is “Shine Relentlessly,” encouraging targets to never allow anyone to dim their light. The logo is the phoenix, which represents rising from the ashes, a visual symbol of Christin’s journey and perseverance and that of others with the same experiences who succeeded. Her company’s mission is a personal one, communicating that “abuse in any way is unacceptable for a salary or a paycheck.” Amongst her expanding business, Christin is currently working with legislators and other targets nationwide to ensure workplace abuse become illegal in all states.
