Ellen believes this mindshift with self-care is what’s needed to take back our wellness and our power. In this session, you’ll learn what self-care truly is, how it helps us stand in our power, and how to shift your mind to develop the tools to put your wellness and power first in your everyday decisions.

Ellen Rondina has more than 30 years of professional music performance experience, 25+years of music teaching, social service work, advocacy, facilitation, curriculum and program design and administration, professional coaching and wellness work, and 15 years working in community education and higher education. Her work exists at the crossroads of social justice and art and social justice and wellness. She is committed to providing the space, intention, insight, and support that allows for people and communities to have conversations that empower each other’s wellness and personal growth. Her professional style is a collaborative, social-constructivist, experientially-based approach. She creates safe spaces where all ideas are welcomed and respected, critical thinking is encouraged and expected, and creative approaches to problem solving are honed. She sees her roles as teacher/coach/author/social worker as that of facilitator and model to guide others to think broadly. In this way, they learn to teach themselves.
