I LEARNED TO GET OUT OF VICTIMHOOD AND LOOK TO MY FUTURE.

— a 2019 Re-Define Summit warrior

When workplace abuse strikes, we become consumed with loss: of our dignity, our trust, and our mental, emotional, and financial health. We feel angry. We ruminate. We feel like we can’t get past the trauma.

At the day-long Re-Define Summit, you’ll connect with targets while hearing from experts in workplace abuse, political action, trauma, career counseling, life coaching, and more. With new tools in your belt and validation and support, you can look to your past to prepare you for your best days to come.

I LEARNED TO LIVE IN MY TRUTH.

THIS YEAR’S TOPICS

Subject to change

9-10am: How toxic workplaces are in Massachusetts — and what we’re doing about it
Dignity Together Founder Deb Falzoi exposes the truth on what’s really going on in public workplaces in Massachusetts. Then Dignity At Work Act Lead Sponsor and State Senator Diana DiZoglio talks about what she’s doing to move the needle on safer workplaces.

10-11am: How targets navigated and recovered from abuse at work (panel)
Targets who recovered from abuse at work (or are on the path to recovery) reveal how they navigated abuse at work, what helped them, what justice looked like for them, and what they believe is the key to recovery.

11am-12pm: Healing and setting yourself free from toxic dynamics in the workplace
One of the most popular speakers of the June Re-Define Virtual Summit, Life Coach Kate Lally talks about how childhood and societal conditioning leads us to step out of our power. Develop insight into what dynamics keep this story alive as you begin to see where you are staying safe and playing small. By the end of this session, you’ll be empowered to reclaim your power and set yourself free from abuse and toxic dynamics in the workplace.

12-1pm: Lunch

1-2pm: Working through the trauma of abuse at work (Q&A)
Social Worker Amy Ebbeson talks about the emotional side of moving forward after abuse at work — from the connection to childhood to how to process trauma.

2-3pm: Finding a job you love
Learn an empowered job search model — the modern way — for a job you love with Career Coach Jessica Sweet.
